1. Description of Services

Maude.L Inc. is a hair and beauty salon offering hair and aesthetic services in-salon, as well as the online sale of beauty products. These terms apply to both online purchases and services rendered at our physical salon.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By placing an order, booking a service, or browsing our website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted these terms. If you do not agree to these conditions, please do not use our services.

3. Customer Account

To make online purchases, you have the option to create a customer account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities occurring under your account. Please notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Prices and Taxes

All prices displayed on our site are in Canadian Dollars (CAD). Applicable taxes (GST and QST) are calculated and displayed at checkout, in compliance with the price transparency requirements of the Quebec Consumer Protection Act. Shipping fees are calculated and displayed before your order is confirmed.

We reserve the right to modify prices at any time without notice. However, the price billed will be the one in effect at the time your order is confirmed.

5. In-Salon Service Bookings

When booking an in-salon service, a deposit may be required to confirm the appointment.

  • This deposit is non-refundable for cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled appointment.

  • If we cancel the appointment, your deposit will be refunded in full.

  • Arriving more than 15 minutes late to your appointment may result in rescheduling or cancellation of your service without a refund of the deposit.

6. Legal Warranty

In accordance with the Quebec Consumer Protection Act, all products sold by us are covered by a legal warranty. This warranty stipulates that the good must:

  • Be durable under normal use and for a reasonable length of time.

  • Serve the normal purpose for goods of that type.

  • Be fit for its usual intended use.

This warranty is in addition to any commercial warranty offered by the manufacturer. In the event of a defect, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund, as provided by law.

7. Payment

We accept credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay. Payments are processed securely via the Shopify platform. We do not store your payment information.

8. Accuracy of Information

We strive to provide accurate information regarding our products and services. However, errors may occur (pricing, description, availability). In the event of an obvious error, we reserve the right to cancel your order and issue a full refund, with no further obligation on our part.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this site (text, images, logos, graphics) is the property of Maude.L Inc. and is protected by intellectual property laws. Any reproduction, distribution, or use without prior written authorization is strictly prohibited.

10. Protection of Personal Information

We comply with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Quebec's Bill 25. The information you provide is used solely to process your orders, improve our services, and communicate with you. We do not sell or rent your data to third parties. 11. Limitation of Liability

Maude.L Inc. cannot be held liable for any direct or indirect damages resulting from the use of our products or services, including allergies, skin reactions, or unsatisfactory results. We highly recommend performing a patch test before using any new product. If a reaction occurs, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional.

12. Amendments to the Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. The terms in effect are those published on our site at the time of your order or use of our services.

13. Applicable Law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in Quebec and Canada. In the event of a dispute, the courts of Quebec shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
