Return and Refund Policy

Welcome to Maude.L Inc. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchases. This policy outlines your rights regarding returns and refunds, in accordance with the Quebec Consumer Protection Act.

Applicable Products

This policy applies to products purchased online at maudel.ca as well as in-salon. Hair and beauty services (cuts, color, treatments, etc.) are non-refundable once the service has been rendered.

Return Window

You have 30 days from the receipt of your online order to return an unused product in its original packaging. Opened, used, or negligently damaged products are not eligible for return, unless there is a manufacturing defect.

Return Conditions

  • The product must be in its original, sealed packaging.

  • A proof of purchase (invoice or order confirmation) is required.

  • Clearance or final sale items are exchangeable only, unless defective.

  • Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

How to Return a Product

  1. Contact us at info@maudel.ca within 30 days of receiving your order.

  2. We will provide you with a Return Authorization (RA) number.

  3. Ship the product to:

    Note: Return shipping costs are your responsibility, unless the product is defective or we made an error with your order.

  4. We will process your return within 5 to 10 business days of receipt.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will refund the product amount and applicable taxes to the original method of payment used for the purchase. Original shipping fees are non-refundable, except in the case of a product defect or an error on our part.

You will be notified by email regarding the approval or rejection of your refund. If rejected, the product will be shipped back to you at our expense.

Exchanges

Prefer an exchange? Simply let us know when requesting your return. We will process the exchange based on stock availability. If the replacement product has a different price, we will adjust the balance accordingly.

Legal Warranty in Quebec

In accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, all goods purchased from a merchant are covered by a legal warranty: the item must be durable under normal use and serve its normal purpose for a reasonable length of time. This warranty applies even if the manufacturer's commercial warranty has expired. If the item is defective, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund, at our discretion.

Right of Cancellation (Online Purchases)

In accordance with Canadian e-commerce guidelines, you may cancel an online order within 30 days of the receipt date if:

  • You did not receive the product within 30 days of the expected delivery date.

  • The product received does not match the description or does not fulfill its intended purpose.

In these cases, a full refund, including shipping costs, will be issued within 15 days of cancellation.

Damaged Products Upon Receipt

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours with photos of both the product and the packaging. We will arrange for a replacement or refund at no additional shipping cost to you.
